What happened?

I run happily booking flights with Lufthansa for three friends from Prague to Frankfurt.

At the start of my posting to the website of the Lufthansa, I remembered my Payback card. Here I have the option of online shopping at various stores, etc. Zusammeln points. This shop is part of a tour operator "Expedia". So I went

I like the Payback website and found by a direct search command my travel provider "Expedia".

clicked on these to book my flight for my three friends. This posting can
bring me 2000 points. Even per booking!

It went pretty fast progress with my booking.

The home page of the tour operator has almost no advertising and can handle the super easy. Furthermore

me an offer per person was suggested by 80 EURO. with Lufthansa.
"Perfect," I'm already looking forward to a great rose behind my belly button. I gave us the payment and überprüfte den Gesamtpreis.
Tja - da kam der Haken dann... So ziemlich fett ...
Eine Mitteilung: "Der Flugpreis hat sich verändert ... "

Nicht nur, dass sich der Flugpreis verändert hat ;-)
Dieser hat sich schlecht weg verdoppelt. So einfach richtig verdoppelt.
Ich starte dann gleich erneut die Homepage der Lufthansa.com. Gab alle Daten meiner Freunde ein sowie die Flugdaten und dann, was kam dabei heraus???

Ebenso pro Person von 80 EURO - der Unterschied ... keine Verdoppelung ... :-)

Bei solch einer Ersparnis verzichte ich sehr gerne auf Payback Punkte.

Das ist der Spaß dann doch nicht wert!!!
